The Truth Will Set You Free

 John 8:32

The small, harmless white lies we occasionally tell have little to no impact on our journey through life. Think of the times when you told your parents you were visiting your best friend but instead attended a party at an unfamiliar person’s house. Or when you claim to have finished your homework to watch a movie with a friend. These minor untruths, often accompanied by a slight grin, won’t significantly affect your overall honesty as you progress through time and ultimately face the divine, reflecting on your life on Earth.

We must first define what truth is to grasp the concept of absolute or universal truth. The dictionary describes truth as “conformity to fact or actuality; a statement proved to be or accepted as true.” Some may argue that there’s no actual reality, only perceptions, and opinions. In contrast, others might insist that there must be some absolute reality or truth.
